The third quarter of school is over so we get to celebrate all the hard work by taking a break. Spring break is this week! School resumes on Monday March 20th, 2023. There are 9 weeks left of school, so make it count!

Dear Families,
I would like to wish a fond farewell to Mrs. Christianna Boxx. Today, February 2nd, is her last official day working for the Bowie Unified School District. Christianna has served the district well in her role as District Secretary and as an active Bowie parent attending numerous district events and offering support to all those with whom she came in contact.
On a personal note, Christianna was the first person to welcome me as the new superintendent and immediately made me feel at home in Bowie. She will be missed, but has agreed to stay on as the school's webmaster and will be volunteering from time to time.

Set your alarms, tonight the Bowie FFA will be hosting their annual Christmas Banquet! It will be in the Gymnasium at 6:00 p.m. and costs $10 a plate. We look forward to seeing all of you tonight!
Calendar Reminder - December 22, 2022 is a half day and all students will be dismissed at 12:15pm. The District Office and all district buildings will be closed from December 23, 2022 through January 8, 2023. Second semester classes begin on January 9, 2023. Have a wonderful Winter Break and a joyous holiday season! We will see you all on January 9th!
Good morning Bowie Panther Families. Unfortunately, we will not have school today, Thursday, November 17, 2022, due to lack of water in Bowie. There is a broken pump and the entire town is without water. This is a severe health and safety issue for any school district. Therefore, we are closed today and plan to reopen on Monday, November 21, 2022. The district will decide on how this day will be made up and will communicate that decision at a later time.
