    Red Ribbon Presentation

    Our red ribbon presentation for grades 3 through 12 will be on Thursday, October 24 at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium. We hope you will join us!

    Thank You, San Simon Valley Literacy Organization

    Thank you to the San Simon Valley Literacy Organization for the donation of sweet treats for the Halloween carnival on October 30, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. We hope to see you there in your costume!

    Community Pool Fixed

    Thank you, Arizona Community Foundation, for the $5,000 grant to fix the Bowie Schools Community pool. We are very grateful. Thank you so much!

    A Huge Thank You!

    Thank you, Evelyn Lathram, for your generous grant from the Albert and Nellie Spikes foundation! The $2,376.00 funded the fall Cochise College classes in which students are dual enrolled.

    Halloween Carnival

    Join us for our Halloween carnival on October 30, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the gym. Please feel free to wear a Halloween costume and enjoy some Halloween fun in the gym.

    New Board Member

    Please help us welcome new board member, Mr. John Klump. Mr. Klump has lived in the Bowie community his entire life. The father of six boys, John and his wife, Kim, enjoy ranching and spending time with their grandchildren. We are happy to have Mr. Klump on the Bowie School Board.

      Congratulations to Houston Klump

      Congratulations to Houston Klump, a senior at Bowie High. He received the title of grand champion at the Cochise County Fair! We are so proud of you, Houston!

      AzM2 Scores Show Our Progress at Bowie Elementary School

      Bowie Elementary School has exited Comprehensive Support and Improvement status. Based on the 2019 AzM2 combined ELA and math proficiency score, Bowie Elementary School is no longer in the bottom 5% of Arizona Title I schools. Please read the letter from the Arizona Department of Education for more information.

      Fall Bowie School Alumni Luncheon

      We invite you and your guests to the fall Bowie school alumni luncheon on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon will be at U-Like Oriental Buffet, 5101 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704 (north of River Rd, on the west side of Oracle Rd). Do not pay at the front desk. Say you are with the Bowie Alumni Group, and you will be directed to a meeting room in the back. We will pay our server with cash or credit/debit card. Please send your RSVP to Evelyn Lathram by email or (520) 425.6406 on or before October 12.

      In accordance with A.R.S. §16-205, this letter serves as official notice that November 5, 2019, will be the next consolidated election date available for school districts, community college district, cities, towns, and special taxing district elections. Please see the notice of election letter for more information.
