Bowie Elementary Blood Drive

Blood Drive flierDid you know that the simple act of donating blood can actually save someone’s life? This is a small, easy way to make a huge difference in the world! Please stop by our blood drive on Tuesday, September 11 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. to donate blood in honor of 9/11. The blood drive will be at the gymnasium (315 West 5th Street.)

You can also log on to the American Red Cross website and use sponsor code: BSD14. If you donate blood or platelets from September 1 through 30, you will receive a coupon by e-mail for a free haircut at participating Sport Clips locations. Unpaid Meal Policy

To  ensure  students  receive  the  nutrition  they  need  to  stay  focused  during  the  school  day,  the  district  shall  maintain  a  meal  charge  program  that minimizes identification of students with insufficient funds to pay for school meals and maintain the financial integrity of the District Food Service Fund Account.
